Sharky's Charter Fishing

Voted the “Favorite Fishing Charter 2017 and 2018” on Oregon’s South Coast, you can rest easy knowing that when you book with Sharky’s Charters you will have the safest and highest quality experience available on a charter fishing trip. Located in Coos Bay, Oregon world class fishing is found just off our coastline. Lingcod, Rockfish, Tuna, Halibut, and Salmon are all found in the rich ocean just offshore. Specializing in a personal and high-quality experience, Captain John limits the number of anglers to four on mixed trips, however exceptions can be made for family groups up to six. While we aren’t the lowest cost charter fishing experience on the south coast, we are the best.  No cost was spared in outfitting our new 26-foot North River Seahawk. Shimano and Lamiglass rods, 2 Speed Accurate reels, and electric Diawa Tanacom reels will ensure that when you get the big one on you have the best chance possible to land it. Some charter services claim to catch the big ones, but then don’t produce. Take a look our photos, they don’t tell fish tales. Sharky’s catches limits and also the largest fish on the south coast. We go further, faster, and fish deeper to get away from the crowds and catch the big ones. So, look no further if you are ready for the chance to catch the fish of a lifetime.

Sample Itinerary: Plan to meet me at sunrise at my charter office in Charleston for a cup of hot coffee and get a license if you need one. From there we head to the boat launch just a minute away where we launch the boat and head out fishing on the ocean. Enjoy views of the rugged coastline and wildlife that calls it home. Keep an eye out for whales as we head down the coastline to one of my favorite reefs where we will fish.Once you have caught your limit of fish or the allotted fishing time has expired we will head back to port and the charter office. Once at the dock have your fish processed and packaged for freshness. Vacuum packing, freezing, and storage of the catch is available for an additional fee of around 10$ a limit. An average trip lasts about 6 hours from start to finish.

Included in the trip is tackle, bottled water and bait. *The cost of license is not included.
