Meet Captain Murry “Murrdog” Conklin — the friendliest face you’ll ever have at the helm. A U.S. Navy veteran with a heart bigger than the Pacific, Murry has been part of the Sharky’s family for years and is beloved by everyone who meets him.

Grandkids call him “Papa,” crew call him the glue that holds the dock together, and guests call him the captain who makes every trip feel like fishing with your favorite uncle.

Murry runs a beautiful blue pilothouse 24-ft Kingfisher, the perfect boat for smaller groups (2–4 anglers) who want a relaxed, no-attitude day on the water. He shines when the bite turns to trolling — few captains work harder or with more patience to put albacore tuna, coho salmon, or chinook in the box. He’s always on time, always smiling, and always ready to share a story or a cold home-brewed beer after the lines are in.
